1. HEN Kolkata Office Hours
Kolkata Office Hours ran from 10 AM to 5 PM, bringing together 8 to 9 women entrepreneurs for a productive day. We kicked off the morning with introductions, and then everyone dove into their tasks.
The day was packed with one-on-one interactions, where we got to know each other’s strengths, explore potential collaborations, brainstorm ideas, and wrap up our work.
2. Hire the Next Gen For Your Business
Payal shared practical strategies for utilizing teen talent in various areas, including research work, content creation, influencer marketing, and more.
We got new perspective on how young talent bring fresh ideas and creativity to their businesses.
3. HEN Tuesday - Building Business
Brainstorm and learn from each other.

At this meeting the conversation moved around –
- Social Media Marketing
- Some feedback exchange on individual company pages
- Structure of a proposal and its importance in negotiation
- How to break into kitty groups / women hobby groups for marketing
- How to create a unique proposition in a competitive marke
4. The Art of Targeting - Strategies for Meta Ads
Entrepreneurs use ads for different goals, from showcasing their brand to boosting sales. Meta Ads have become a crucial part of digital marketing.
To guide our entrepreneurs to create successful Meta ad campaigns, Vivek Kumar Anand shared his expertise in a 90-minute session with HEN Members.
The session focused on targeting the right audience on Meta. The goal was to achieve the best return on our ads.
Vivek shared three case studies that helped explain the concepts and show different strategies.
5. Network & Collaborate on HEN
HEN is a community with many women entrepreneurs, and making the most of the platform is crucial. This includes finding partners, exploring mentorship opportunities, and more.
Through this session we helped HEN entrepreneurs understand the new offerings we’ve introduced in the community.
Priyanka also explained how the HEN community platform works. We ended the meeting with a quick speed networking session among the members present.
6. Brand Archetype for Brand Writing: Part I
A brand differentiator is what positions your brand uniquely in the market. Although it involves a long process of strategies, understanding your brand archetype is crucial.
Gunjan Pai, founder of Copylove, led this session to help entrepreneurs build their brand vocabulary.
This was the first of a 3-part series where entrepreneurs learned about the 12 brand archetypes and how each differs in vocabulary and perception.
HEN members did practical exercises to apply their learnings in their introductions and 30-second elevator pitches.
7. HEN Tuesday - Customer Service Beyond Sales
This week the discussion was about Customer Service.
Question on the table were –
- how do you engage v/s annoy customer
- how service industry can make their service better as solopreneur
- how to get feedback from customers
- how to increase the conversion on social media for d2c brands
- how to build a WhatsApp group strategy for lead conversion
8. HEN Night Adda
HEN Night Addas are meetings called by HEN Power Circle Members for a discussion / brainstorming on their business or an idea.
Leena Soneja, Founder of Vedaant Gifts, called for this meeting to brainstorm ideas for scaling up her home decor gifting business.
The session was led by seasoned sales coach Neetu Bansal.
HEN Members joined the meeting and shared their ideas and perspectives, making it very helpful. Everyone brought unique insights, enriching the discussion.
The session was a reminder that every challenge is a shared learning opportunity. It showed the power of collective wisdom and the supportive community within HEN.
9. Unlock Grant Funding & Fuel Your Business Growth!
As India aims for ‘Viksit Bharat@2047’ to become a US$ 30 trillion economy by 2047, the Government of India has launched numerous initiatives to support entrepreneurship and this vision.
To grow our businesses, it’s crucial to utilize these initiatives.
Recently, Usha Paliath joined us to guide entrepreneurs on the various types of grants available.
Entrepreneurs learned about central government grants, private and corporate sector grants, international grants, and six sector-specific grants.
She also provided a checklist and steps for applying for grants. She shared tips and pitfalls to avoid when seeking grant funding.
10. Rural Women, Rising Star with Banglanatak.com
The discussion covered Banglanatak’s journey from a theater website to a social enterprise. We talked about the challenges and opportunities for rural women.
We saw how Banglanatak uses theater to support rural women and help them reach bigger markets.
Ananya also talked about the real-world challenges these women face. These include marketing, team building, managing finances, and finding mentors.
Banglanatak’s “Art for Life” initiative aims to protect traditional art and craft skills as a source of income for rural women. During the pandemic, these women used technology to showcase their products.!
HEN and Banglanatak.com has collaborated to bridge the gap between rural and urban entrepreneurs, helping everyone grow!

HEN Lives are 20-minute Instagram Lives where HEN PowerCircle members come to share their entrepreneurial journey and learnings about their business.
